My Background and Career
I was the only non-lawyers / economist in the management of the law firm, before I've worked as a director in PwC.
The biggest opportunities were the possibility working abroad in Germany, Austria and in the Great Britain, and after graduating continuing education, ACCA qualification, the experienced manager from PwC - shadowing and mentoring. Birth of our two daughters and part time work.
My biggest threats were fail of failure and also some of my personal weaknesses.
My family was helped me very significantly, part-time work requires the support, understanding, assistance.
Education and training were very important too. Improving with growing responsibility and skills development are supportive for the career development in the competitive / male environment.
My personal relationships and acquaintances significantly helped me as well as the art of asking well and listening.
To be interested in what is happening around, be a role model and not lose time, which is so rare, in idleness and boredom - this is very important.
The most important skills I have are risk analysis, definition of options, search improvements, adjustment of process / permanent solutions, work in a diversified team.
I like to negotiate so that everyone ends up satisfied, the personal development of people working with me is important.
I like partnership building and work as a team. I easily adapt myself to changes. I like to have objectives and to reach my goals. I am able to use the experience and advice of others. I don’t hesitate to ask for advice.
Hints & Tips
Not to be afraid, not to be too naive and not be alone for the project.
The role models are extremely important and even their search is very useful.
Everything is in our hands.
We do not enter into paradise on feet but through heart.
Solidarity in the women's business and network, mutual support and assistance are very important.
